We all know how embarrassing acne pimples are, those red pimples with white pus that show up are not only physically painful but socially painful too. I'm sure everyone who suffers from mild to severe acne has had situations where they needed to get rid of a red pimple quickly, and in this article we'll look at how to do it quickly.
Whether you need to look good quickly for a party or a date, acne can be quickly covered and treated with some of these methods:
1. Do not, I repeat: pick, pop, squeeze, itch, scratch or TOUCH a pimple. This is the STUPIDEST thing you can do, you could end up spreading the bacteria all over your face and one pimple can turn into 2-3 more! Plus, you can end up with a pretty ugly scar, so PLEASE DO NOT TOUCH BUMP!
2. If you want to reduce the redness of a pimple, you can put ice around the affected area to relieve the redness. After the ice removes some of the redness, you can apply some makeup over it to hide it. Yes, this applies to men too, a little make-up isn't noticeable, but a big red bump on the face is! Stop acting like it's embarrassing and just wear it!
3. A little home remedy I've found that works well for me is crushing some aspirin and mixing it with water, then soaking a towel in the mixture and GENTLY rubbing around the pimple. Don't rub hard or you'll just make it worse!!
4. This may sound strange, but it works really well on some pimples. What you do is take a bottle of Visine, yes, Visine eye drops and apply a few drops to the pimple.
5. This is an oldie but a goodie - take a little toothpaste (minty toothpastes, not fruity ones) and apply it to the pimple before you go to bed. The mixture of menthol and toothpaste relaxes the pimple and reduces swelling and redness!
Remember that these are just solutions to cover up your acne, these will NOT help you prevent breakouts in the future. While these “tricks” help hide acne quickly, you should be careful to prevent acne completely! Imagine having no more breakouts or pimples, this is the way to go, prevention!
