How effective are HEPA vacuum cleaners? Well, a 2019 study in theJournal of Environmental Monitoringfound that vacuuming with a vacuum cleaner with a HEPA filter significantly reduced the amount of house dust mite allergens and polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs).
