What causes hemorrhoids? To date, there is no scientific way to explain what causes hemorrhoids. But in my opinion it all boils down to lifestyle. Modern citizens consume high-fat foods that contain less fiber and drink carbonated water instead of regular water. And due to this lifestyle, constipation is very normal in these people, forcing them to undergo chronic straining of bowel movements. One theory that supports my opinion is that constipation is a result of drinking less water and eating less fiber-rich foods. Was verursacht Hämorrhoiden?

What causes hemorrhoids? To date, there is no scientific way to explain what causes hemorrhoids. But in my opinion it all boils down to lifestyle. Modern citizens consume high-fat foods that contain less fiber and drink carbonated water instead of regular water. And due to this lifestyle, constipation is very normal in these people, forcing them to undergo chronic straining of bowel movements.

One theory that supports my opinion is that constipation is a result of drinking less water and eating less fiber-rich foods. This results in hard stool during bowel movements and having to push harder to get it out. Now that stool passes through the anal canal and pulls the hemorrhoidal pads down and there's a good chance the tissue will rupture.

Pregnancy is another cause of hemorrhoids, although the reason is unclear. And that is why women who have given birth are prone to hemorrhoids.

To prevent hemorrhoids, you need to make slight changes to your lifestyle. Start by eating less fast food and more fiber-rich foods. Fruits are another good source of nutrition and prevent constipation. Drink at least 8 glasses of plain water every day and exercise regularly to get your body in shape for prevention.

If you have a hard stool, try not to put too much pressure on the toilet bowl. Instead, let it go out naturally if you can. Otherwise, eat fruit before bowel movements. Try not to use toilet paper after a bowel movement as it has a rough surface and can worsen any developing hemorrhoids. Instead, pack a pack of alcohol-free wipes and clean your anal region gently and carefully.

Understanding how hemorrhoids develop and their causes will certainly help prevent most unpleasant hemorrhoid conditions such as thrombosed external hemorrhoids. Such hemorrhoids are very painful in nature and in some cases sitting on a chair or walking can be a problem.
