Why you don't need hair loss treatments to stop hair loss
In this article, I will explain how some of the most popular hair loss treatments work, and then I will explain how you can use alternative methods to achieve the same results without purchasing the treatments.
Topical minoxidil
The most popular brand of topical minoxidil is Rogaine, but there are several others. Minoxidil works by increasing blood flow to the scalp. Hair needs a good supply of nutrients to grow and the nutrients are supplied via the bloodstream. When you increase blood flow to the scalp, you help hair growth.
Minoxidil is a popular hair loss treatment and has been shown to work for many users in various studies. However, there are other ways to increase blood flow to the scalp without having to spend a dime. Here are a few tips to increase blood flow to the scalp (and therefore provide more nutrients) and also to improve your circulation in general:
1. Tap your head fifty times with a hard hairbrush two to three times a day. If you have fair skin, tap your head fairly quickly with a brush about fifty times. You will notice that your skin turns red. Why is that? Well, it's simply because you've flushed the blood onto the skin, exactly where you want it.
2. Train hard three times a week. Exercise until you're out of breath, sweating, and hot. Again, if you have fair skin, you should be able to see your skin turning red because of the blood that has washed onto the skin. Try to do this hard exercise for about twenty minutes. This not only improves blood circulation, but also helps reduce stress (another major cause of hair loss), strengthens your heart, and keeps you in good shape.
3. Give yourself a nice head massage once a day. This also increases flood flow to the scalp and also helps reduce stress. It can also help exfoliate the scalp, which is a good thing. Keeping your pores clean is important for hair growth.
There are several other ways to increase blood flow to the scalp, and there are methods for cleaning the body's blood vessels to improve overall blood circulation. In general, it's pretty easy to increase blood flow to the scalp without having to spend money on minoxidil. Additionally, the procedures outlined above have excellent secondary benefits.
Nourkrin dietary supplement for hair loss
Nourkrin is a popular hair loss supplement, but there are many others on the market. Some hair loss/hair growth supplements contain some powerful ingredients that provide hair benefits for some people. However, it is possible to obtain similar results and (as with the circulation examples) to obtain additional secondary methods.
You don't need supplements to provide all the nutrients you need for hair growth. With some “superfoods” available in all major supermarkets and by making slight adjustments to your diet, you can supercharge your hair growth nutrient supply.
Here are a few foods you could include in your diet to boost hair growth:
1. Raw eggs. This may sound gross, but you could add your raw eggs to a smoothie if you can't chop them on your own. However, in general, try to minimize the number of ingredients you consume at one time. Your digestive system is far happier digesting one ingredient at a time than many different ingredients - and this is another argument against supplements. Raw eggs contain some great nutrients for hair growth and overall health (especially your appearance). Inositol, choline, B vitamins and vitamin E are nutrients that benefit your hair. Some B vitamins are only found in animal products and egg yolk is a good source.
2. Green leafy vegetables. Green leafy vegetables such as baby leaf spinach, watercress and arugula contain the nutrients needed to look healthy. In general, colorful vegetables are rich in nutrients. Strawberries, oranges, broccoli are good examples.
3. EFA oil. If you use a supplement, make it “EFA oil.” EFA stands for essential fatty acids and these are good fats that cannot be produced in your body - they can only be obtained through diet. So if you want to get a supplement, cold-pressed organic extra virgin EFA oil is a good choice – I call it a supplement, but it is a “complete nutritional supplement” that usually contains no more than three different seed oils – it is not the same as a hair loss supplement in capsule form, which usually contains a variety of different ingredients.
Above are a few tips to achieve the same results as some of the popular hair loss treatments without paying for them. And when you use these alternative methods, you get secondary benefits. Eating a healthy diet will help maintain your overall health and appearance.
