Internal hemorrhoids affect the anal canal, while external hemorrhoids can be seen as fleshy lumps that protrude from the anus.
Bleeding hemorrhoids are always a result of the high pressure on the veins in the rectal area. This is due to the additional pressure placed on the veins by various causes such as obesity, poor circulation, plaque formation or other primary diseases. This in turn causes blood to pool in the veins of this region, forcing the veins to enlarge. If the condition persists, the veins become permanently swollen and also enlarge the nearby tissues, leading to the development of hemorrhoids, especially bleeding hemorrhoids.
Some other reasons that cause the rectal veins to swell, which in turn can lead to bleeding hemorrhoids, are:

When this happens, internal hemorrhoids have fallen past the anal sphincter and are now called prolapsed hemorrhoids. External hemorrhoids are easily visible because they form small lumps in and around the anal sphincter.
Bleeding and itching during bowel movements and sometimes urine is an important symptom. Apart from this, it is also possible to see a small amount of blood spots when no bowel movement is felt. Other symptoms of bleeding hemorrhoids include pain, discomfort, enlargement and protrusion of the veins and tissue in the anal area, pain and persistent itching around the anus.
Treatment options for bleeding hemorrhoids include medications to reduce inflammation of the veins and surrounding tissues and lifestyle changes to eliminate the discomfort. Additionally, surgery is available to remove the affected veins. A visit to the doctor is necessary to determine the course and time of treatment after a complete workup. Since more than 50% of the population suffers from hemorrhoids of any kind, you should consult a doctor immediately if you are bothered by bleeding hemorrhoids.
