Calendula or marigold, one of our most popular garden plants, has some great healing properties. Calendula is grown in our gardens more often than not just because we love this colorful, cheerful flower. However, this is a plant with some amazing healing properties that we often don't mention. The Latin name is Calendula officinalis, but it is better known as marigold, marigold or garden marigold. It belongs to the Asteraceae family and probably comes from southern Europe.
