How to Get Rid of Pimples Fast – 6 Step Overnight Acne Treatment
Photos coming? Going to the prom or school dance? Special date in the next 24 hours? This proven 6-step process will get rid of a problematic pimple overnight!
Step 0: Don't pop the pimple!
I just added this pre-step because some people can get so frustrated with their pimples that they just pop them. This can make your problem worse. It will also reduce the effectiveness of the following 6 steps.
Step 1: Prepare your ice pack
Crush some ice. If you have multiple pimples or a “pimple zone,” increase the amount of ice. Crush the ice and place it in some aluminum foil. Place the aluminum foil ice pack in a zip-top sandwich or freezer bag. The intention here is to keep the pack as cold as possible. Place the package back in the freezer. Do this just before step two or your ice cream will refreeze into a solid lump. You want a crushed ice pack that can be easily molded to your face.
Step 2: Prepare your face
Wash your face with soap, preferably an acne soap. Wash it thoroughly and if your skin remains oily, wash it again. Dry your face but pat it dry with a towel. DO NOT RUB DRY!
Step 3: Freeze this sucker
Remove the ice pack from the freezer, crush it further when it freezes again into clumps, and place it in a thin towel. This will get the cold out without your face freezing to the plastic bag. Place the ice pack on the affected pimple or acne area and leave it there for at least 10 minutes. If it feels too “cold,” just keep going as your face will go numb and soon stop hurting. The ice pack freezes the pore and pushes dirt and oil out of the infected area. Be careful not to move the ice pack on your face. If you need to adjust it, take it off immediately and reapply it. DO NOT WIPE ON SKIN!
Step 4: Blow this sucker up
Apply the acne cream of your choice to your entire face. We recommend Noxzema or Clearasil as these seem to produce the best results. Rub it especially well around the offending pimple or acne area. After application, leave it on for a minute and then wash off with water. Dry your face but pat it dry with a towel. DO NOT RUB DRY!
Step 5: Repeat the process
Wait 4 hours and then repeat step 2 (preparing your face) and then step 3 (freeze this suction cup) and then step 4 (blow up this suction cup). You should already notice a significant reduction in the size of the pimple or acne area. However, at the end of repeating step 4, do not remove the acne cream. Leave it on for at least 6 hours. This process is good before bedtime and you can sleep with the acne cream mask overnight.
Step 6: Final facial cleansing
When you wake up (or at the end of at least 6 hours), wash off your acne cream with water. Rinse it well. Remember though – pat your face dry with a towel. DO NOT RUB DRY! You shouldn't have any more pimples! If the pimple still isn't completely gone, you can repeat step 2 (Prepare your face) and then step 3 (freeze this sucker) and then step 4 (blow up this sucker) again if you have time before your big event.
