Eczema Treatments - How to Eliminate Inflammation

One of the annoying characteristics of eczema is persistent inflammation. Your skin becomes inflamed and itchy. It itches constantly and you just can't help but scratch your skin to relieve the annoyance.

As you know, scratching skin makes your skin condition worse. You need to find a way to stop the inflammation and itching.

That's exactly what I did when I was looking for a cure for my eczema. Among the wide variety of raw, organic foods I began eating, ginger was one of the most effective against inflammation.

In fact, ginger is a root that can relieve dozens of ailments from high blood pressure, motion sickness and other digestive problems to migraines, headaches, arthritis, high cholesterol and even dangerous blood clots. Ginger is one of the most popular remedies worldwide.

When I first started using ginger, I noticed that whenever I added some ginger to my daily fruit or vegetable juices, my skin was calm and didn't itch as much throughout the day. I now drink about 1.5 liters of organic juice every day and as far as I'm concerned, it protects me from all sorts of ailments.

You can use ginger in a variety of forms including dried, fresh, crystallized and powdered. I find that fresh ginger is best. When shopping for fresh ginger, avoid those that are covered in soft spots, mold, or wrinkled skin.

You can get the best benefits from ginger by eating it as often as possible. But don't go ginger crazy. If you want to prevent your skin from becoming inflamed on a daily basis, use about an ounce of ginger in your juices or drink it in your tea, or add a small amount of ginger to your stir-fry.

Once you discover the amount of ginger that is right for you, you will notice that your eczema skin is so inflamed. Your skin is calmer and you tend not to scratch as much.

The less you scratch your eczema skin, the more chance you give it to heal. The more chances you give your skin to heal, the faster it will disappear completely.

For a very effective drink, try juicing some carrots, ginger, celery, and cucumbers every day for about seven days and see if you notice the difference in how your skin feels.
