What are the foods to avoid if you have arthritis? If you avoid them, could this be a cure? Or is there another cure for arthritis? If these important questions are answered helpfully, it could mean the end of arthritis for you or your loved one. So let's look at what you can do yourself, and then let's look at other areas of self-help that can be far more rewarding, beneficial and less harmful than the common arthritic medications.

First, dairy is widely considered to be one of the staple foods for preventing arthritis. A study conducted in China, where little or no dairy products are consumed, found little or no arthritis. And it's not just arthritis that makes dairy worse. Everyone who comes out of the dairy experiences massive health rewards.

This is hardly surprising when you realize two important points

1. Dairy products are made for baby cows. They were probably weaned a long time ago. And you are not a cow. Why should dairy be beneficial for you? And the truth is that it's not like that. It's not the best source of calcium or protein it's supposed to be because by the time you wean, your digestion has changed and dairy is much less digestible for you. Although both calcium and protein are present in abundance in dairy products, they are locked up – your body cannot access them.

2. Pasteurization damages and destroys nutrients in milk, making it even more difficult to digest than raw milk.

If you focus on the damage that heating food causes, you'll find that a diet rich in raw, unprocessed foods goes a long way toward restoring your health. Raw foods are rich in enzymes, which are essential for good digestion and intestinal health. Raw foods digest much more completely and quickly than cooked foods, so the nutrients enter your system much more quickly.

Many nutrients are either damaged (e.g. protein) or lost (e.g. enzymes) during cooking. Health cannot be good if you do not get the essential nutrients even though they are present in the foods you buy.

While diet goes a long way toward restoring you to good, arthritis-free health and may be the complete answer for many, it will inevitably not be able to provide 100% relief for 100% of people.

And this is where the natural modality of homeopathy comes into play in healthcare. Homeopathy is a powerful and complete system of natural health care that can solve any health problem, including arthritis.

The way homeopathy works is to bring you back into balance. And this balance is the key to good health. A lack of balance leads to illness. This can come from poor living conditions such as nutrition. Or it may come from a family trait. Homeopathy has the potential to uncover these familial tendencies.
