How our Bichon Frize dog got relief from arthritis pain

Lexy is our little Bichon. She'll be 7 in January and weighs just 12 pounds but runs a very tight ship (in other words, she's in charge).

She was a very active dog for the first 5 years. She walked every day and enjoyed her time out and about. Then she lost her momentum and didn't bother with her daily walks. When she was growing up we didn't think much about it at first, but as time went on it got worse.

We had read about the deterioration of the Bichon's joints. My husband Ken and I had always cared for our Lexy, but this situation worried us.

We took her to the vet and he made suggestions for surgery and possibly a vaccination every week and the cost of these things would put a strain on our money situation - but we said anything to make Lexy feel better.

I had already searched catalogs and online for products that claimed to relieve joint pain and give Lexy a new lease on life. We said we should try something. What harm could it do, because at that time we wore Lexy to go up and down stairs and climb up and down furniture. She moaned with every movement and just wanted to lie down (and that was even hard).

We tried a product called Joint Care 2 Advanced with MSM from Doctors Foster & Smith for moderate to severe arthritic conditions in dogs and cats and it is available online at http://www.DrsFosterSmith.com or via their catalog. Within two weeks we saw a return of Lexy's agility. She started walking and playing like her old self again! I even think Lexy was aware of the improvement. She was happy!

Lexy has now given us all the joy we experienced before and more. She's making us laugh again at her antics. Even our vet couldn't believe the difference.

If you have a dog that has the same problems as Lexy, give it a try and hopefully you will get the same results.

We, along with our friends and family, cannot believe the difference it has made for our Lexy - she is back to her old (new) self!
