Although there are several known triggers of asthma, there is only one true cause. The cause is rarely discussed by the mainstream medical community. It was discovered by leading respiratory doctors in the last century, but for some reason the information behind this discovery is not shared with asthmatics.
Health systems around the world do not care too much about alternative remedies or home remedies for asthma or other ailments. They are complex systems with many social, economic and political implications. It's a big deal! Governments and companies don't make money from alternative or natural therapies.
It is now accepted by leading respiratory physicians around the world that asthma is merely an imbalance in the respiratory system and not an incurable disease. Many people, especially children, outgrow or recover from asthma without knowing how they did it. I can explain it!
Asthma is your body's defense mechanism against involuntary hyperventilation. Once you understand why your body exhibits asthma or asthmatic symptoms, to be more specific, you will be able to prevent and reverse asthmatic symptoms.
An asthma attack is a condition that can present with a variety of symptoms, including: wheezing, shortness of breath, cough, chest tightness, stuffy or runny nose, and excessive mucus production.
There are many known triggers for an asthma attack, including exercise, sleep, extreme weather, laughter, dust, pets, allergens, pollution, smoking or drugs. However, they are simple, TRIGGER. They can't possibly be the cause of asthma, otherwise they would cause asthma in everyone, right?
Asthma medications for relief or emergency treatment are intended solely to mask the symptoms of asthma. They will open your inflamed airways very quickly and give you instant relief. As a result, they actually work against your body's natural defense mechanism. While they give you relief in the moment, they have various side effects and will only make your asthma worse in the long run by creating a dependency on emergency medication to reopen the airways, something your body is very capable of doing on its own.
Preventative medications are designed to compensate for your adrenal glands' inability to produce adequate amounts of cortisol. They contain a synthetic version of the natural hormone cortisol called cortisone or corticosteroids. Again, these synthetic medications have various side effects and, when used long-term, can effectively impair your body's ability to produce cortisol, making your asthma worse.
