How homolateral energy could hold the key to combating depression
Very few people know about the homolateral energy state, but it can often hold the key to truly understanding WHY you suddenly feel so low, so tired, so apathetic, as if everything feels too difficult or difficult. How homolateral energy could hold the key to combating depression
Very few people know about the homolateral energy state, but it can often hold the key to truly understanding WHY you suddenly feel so low, so tired, so apathetic, as if everything feels too difficult or difficult.
In short, when a person is in good physical and emotional health, the energy in their body transitions, from side to side and from top to bottom and from front to back.
But if you could take a picture of a depressed person's energy, you would see that their energy doesn't cross over, it just seems to be stuck straight up and down their body in a pattern called "homolateral."
If you're stuck in the homolateral energy state:
· You are operating at 50% (or sometimes even less) of your full energy capacity.
· You find it much more difficult to become physically healthy and often relapse into chronic illnesses
· Even simple movements like walking, which are normally incredibly stimulating and mentally stimulating, are very strenuous and difficult. (If your energy is healthy and overlapping, walking is the perfect exercise to maintain energy flow in this way. However, if your energy flows in parallel lines, the effort of walking - alternating arms and legs -over 'pattern - contradicts your body's current flow of energy. It's like trying to swim upstream; you'll get tired, tired, and miserable very quickly.)
· Emotionally you usually feel depressed, very negative and cynical about life. overwhelmed and chronically exhausted.
You can very easily become “homolateral” if you have been sick, injured, had surgery, or experienced chronic or acute stress. (In other words, people get homolateral as a kind of physical “post-traumatic stress” response.)
The following exercise can help you get out of the homolateral energy state - and once you are physiologically "unstuck", you will find that you naturally have much more optimism, courage and emotional strength.
THE EXERCISE “HOW TO GET OUT OF THE HOMOLATERAL ENERGY STATE”:
1) Sit on your couch.
2) Touch the same knee with the same elbow (first the right elbow and the right knee, then the left elbow and the left knee), 12 times on each side.
3) Then touch the opposite knee with the opposite elbow (right elbow to left knee, then left elbow to right knee) 12 times on each side.
4) Do both sets two more times, ending with alternating sides (i.e. right elbow to left knees, etc.).
Remember, these exercises are NOT about feeling the burn. It's about getting the energy to transition again.
If you are sick or feeling very weak, you can take them as slowly as needed and they will still get the job done.
Note:
· If you have been very homolateral, stressed and depressed or sick for a while, you will need to do these exercises twice a day for at least 40 days before the improvements really last for a long time.
There are many reasons why we become depressed and spread across all levels of mind, body and soul. But once you leave the homolateral energy state, you will find that the other areas of your life will also change.
