Get more fiber in your diet
Fiber in your diet means looser stools and that means an easier time in the bathroom. If your bowel movements are not a problem and you can avoid extra pushing and pressure, you will save yourself from another hemorrhoid ordeal. Foods that will increase your fiber intake include whole-grain breads and cereals, beans, fresh or lightly cooked fruits and vegetables, brown rice and other grains, nuts and seeds. At the same time, there are foods that you should avoid because they have the opposite effect. This includes cheese, meat, chips, pizza, ice cream, cakes, pies and other pastries.
Train and get the blood flowing
