Herbal Remedies for Muscle Pain - Solve your body pain problems
Muscle pain is a common problem that we have to deal with almost every day. Overexertion of muscles and ligaments can lead to swollen muscles and joints. Muscle pain is quite debilitating. Most of us just couldn't stop complaining when we are plagued by this problem. Luckily, there are numerous treatments that can help solve the problem.
Try using herbal remedies for muscle pain. Here are some of the remedies you can try:
1. Nettle and rosemary
These herbs are full of flavonoids. Flavonoids improve blood circulation. This can also reduce blood clotting and eliminate bruising. This also speeds up the healing process of damaged muscles. Use nettle and rosemary.
Try crushing nettle and rosemary leaves. Heat olive oil and mix with the crushed mixture of rosemary leaves and nettle. Once the olive oil has cooled slightly, apply it to your sore muscles. Wrap a clean cloth around the area to secure the leaves.
2. Banana leaves
Asians often use banana leaves to relieve muscle pain and even joint pain. Get a large leaf of banana and cut it into large square pieces. Apply coconut oil to one side of the leaf. Heat it over a lit candle. Once the banana leaf has warmed up, place it on your sore muscles. The heat of the leaf improves blood circulation and the banana leaf and coconut oil can soothe damaged tissue.
3. Chamomile tea
Drink chamomile tea when you don't have time for topical remedies. Chamomile has calming properties that can calm the nervous system and relieve twitching of muscles and nerves. This can also help improve sleep, allowing your body to perform regenerative functions. Your aching body should function like new in the morning.
3. Arnica
Arnica is one of the best natural remedies for sore muscles. This also helps relieve pain caused by a sprain or pulled ligament. Try making a paste or ointment from arnica. Add moisturizing ingredients like olive oil or coconut oil to make it easier to apply to your skin. Massage the ointment onto your sore muscles.
4. Cayenne
This is often used in Ayurvedic medicine to treat muscle pain. Cayenne is a spicy herb. It can effectively promote blood circulation. Use it as an ointment. Mix cayenne pepper and vegetable oil. Apply it to your tired and sore muscles. Wash off after an hour.
