Stop acid reflux today - why a natural reflux cure could be as simple as a piece of fruit

Did you know you can stop acid reflux today? Do you choose antacids, prescription medication, or a piece of fruit?

Most people choose antacids and if their reflux gets bad enough, they may opt for prescription medications. Unfortunately, these are the same people who will suffer from reflux for the rest of their lives. And that's why thousands of reflux sufferers are opting for simple home treatments and ditching their antacids.

If you constantly struggle with acid reflux (also called heartburn), you may want to treat your problem with a delicious red fruit.

Why aren't antacids the answer for reflux?

If you struggle with heartburn once a month, you should probably take an antacid to relieve the discomfort.

If you're constantly struggling with acid reflux/heartburn (at least once a week), it may be time to consider treatment that cures the problem rather than treating the symptoms. Let me explain.

Antacids and most prescription medications work because they neutralize the stomach acid that is refluxed. You will notice that the symptoms (malaise, burning, possibly vomiting) subside. However, over time, antacids eventually lose their effectiveness. You may find yourself taking more antacids. You may also find that only prescription medications now work.

Have you heeded the warnings on antacids and prescription medications? You will find that you can only take the medication for a limited time. If the time period is exceeded, your body could start producing a hormone called gastrin, which has been shown to increase the risk of cancer. READ THE LABEL!

At some point none of these treatments will work! And acid reflux will be part of your everyday life (maybe it already is?).

But there is hope because you can cure your reflux by healing your esophagus and sphincter. Here are some tips to start your treatment at home.

Start your natural reflux cure today

1.If you suffer from acid reflux, you most likely have a damaged esophagus (tube that carries food to the stomach) and sphincter (flap of muscle above the stomach that keeps food/acid in the stomach). Although damaged, you can heal and repair both tissues with simple health tips. The first tip would be to only eat soft foods for 2-3 days. Depending on the severity of your reflux, this should be enough for both tissues to heal. After 2-3 days you can eat normally again.

2.You should also avoid spicy and acidic foods, which can also prevent the sphincter and esophagus from healing. Stay away from these types of foods and alcohol, carbonated drinks and coffee. You will be able to add these foods/drinks back into your diet in a few days.

3.You should also stop smoking for a few days. The chemicals and fumes in smoke irritate the esophagus. You can start smoking again on the 3rd day. However, it is best not to smoke at all.

4.Drinking water after every meal does a few things. On the one hand, it allows all body systems to work more efficiently. It also keeps the esophagus and sphincter clean. When the sphincter (muscular flap) is cleared (tightly closing the stomach), stomach acid and food usually stay where they should be.

5.And finally, the fruit you've been waiting for...an apple! Did you know that you can use nature's antacid...an apple to cure your heartburn? My father has been cured of reflux for almost 30 years and his remedy is a simple apple. Learn more about his history and healing on our website below.
