On Saturday evening a serious traffic accident occurred on the B 421 in “Zeller Berg”. An SUV driver lost control of his vehicle, crashed into a vineyard wall and eventually rolled over into the oncoming lane.
When the accident was recorded, it turned out that the driver was heavily under the influence of alcohol. This risky driving style not only endangered his own life, but also that of other road users.
The B 421 had to be closed in both directions for the duration of the rescue and accident investigation, which led to traffic delays and diversions.
