Klingbeil calls for a review of the Corona policy for social reconciliation

In a recent statement, SPD leader Lars Klingbeil called for a comprehensive review of the Corona policy. He describes the pandemic as the origin of many divisions in German society and emphasizes that the aim of this review is to draw lessons from the past years and contribute to social reconciliation. Klingbeil emphasizes that this process should not be about assigning blame, but rather about laying an important foundation for democracy.

In his remarks, Klingbeil criticized the fact that measures were taken during the pandemic that, in his opinion, should not be implemented again. As an example, he cites the school closings, which he classifies as overly harsh decisions. He is also critical of the debate about compulsory vaccination, which he finds too harsh and unforgiving. This is causing discussions in the political landscape.

Vaccine side effects and their recognition

One of the serious side effects is post-vaccination syndrome, which occurs in rare cases after vaccination. Although this syndrome has not yet been scientifically defined, it is recognized by doctors as a disease. The symptoms include shortness of breath, chronic exhaustion, heart problems and a lack of concentration; those affected are often no longer able to go about their everyday lives. Young people and women in particular are affected at an above-average rate. However, the exact number of people suffering from post-vac syndrome is not yet known.

To date, a total of 11,827 applications for care claims due to vaccination injuries have been submitted, with vaccination damage being recognized in 467 applications. According to Lauterbach, post-vac syndrome must be taken seriously and examined in detail in order to better understand possible risks for the population.

These developments underline the need to reflect and transparently address both the political decisions during the pandemic and the health effects of vaccinations. Klingbeil's call for a review of the Corona policy is becoming increasingly important in this context.
