New name, old faces: Gesundheitwerk Sauerland takes over in Attendorn!
On January 1, 2025, there was a change in shareholders at the Elithera Health Center in Attendorn. The previous owners, married couple Adolf and Julia Schmidlin, handed the facility over to Prange Gesundheit GmbH, based in Plettenberg. Prange Gesundheit GmbH already operates a medical center in Grevenbrück and is now planning to open a new medical center in Attendorn in collaboration with Dr. Hans-Peter Hunfeld.
As part of the takeover, the physiotherapy practice will be renamed and will in future be called “Gesundheitswerk Sauerland”. However, the existing opening times and telephone numbers remain unchanged.
Details about the takeover and employee situation
The Elithera Health Center currently employs 15 people, including physiotherapists, sports therapists and administrative staff. The aim of the takeover is to secure jobs and maintain the quality of care.
