Tapsy is an adorable, one-year-old mixed-breed male who stands about 45 centimeters high at the shoulder. He has a tricolor coat that makes him a real eye-catcher. He originally comes from an animal shelter in Romania, where he spent his first months of life and a difficult time because he contracted parvovirus as a puppy and had to be hospitalized. Fortunately, he survived this phase and is now a healthy and active dog.
His charm and philanthropy make him an ideal companion. However, Tapsy needs some time to trust strangers. His first encounters should be approached carefully because he is initially shy and needs to be left alone. But once the ice is broken, he turns into a real cuddly bear who really appreciates lots of petting.
A suitable habitat
Tapsy shows great potential in dog school and impresses with his joy of learning. His future home should ideally be in a quiet outskirts of town, where he has the peace and space he needs to play and study. A family with a first dog would be ideal as he gets along well with older dogs.
Although the sweet male initially requires a longer period of getting used to, his compatibility with other dogs is undisputed. He currently has no experience with cats, so his future home should be carefully considered. Children aged ten and over are welcome, provided they understand how to respectfully interact with a cautious dog.
