Duraclone (Epidural)
Duraclone (Epidural)
Duraclon (Epidural) Epidural route (solution)
The product with a strength of 500 mcg/ml should be diluted in an appropriate solution before use. Epidural clonidine is not recommended for obstetric, postpartum, or perioperative pain management. The risk of hemodynamic instability, particularly hypotension and bradycardia, from epidural clonidine may be unacceptable in these patients. However, in a rare obstetric, postpartum, or perioperative patient, the potential benefits may outweigh the possible risks.
