Before using Dyna-Hex2

Allergies

Tell your doctor if you have ever had an unusual or allergic reaction to this medicine or any other medicines. Also tell your doctor if you have other allergies, such as to foods, dyes, preservatives or animals. For over-the-counter products, read the label or package ingredients carefully.

Pediatrics

Because chlorhexidine can cause excessive skin irritation and there is a risk of increased skin absorption, its use in children younger than 2 months is not recommended.

geriatrics

There is no information on the relationship between age and the effects of chlorhexidine in geriatric patients.

Drug interactions

Although certain medicines should not be used together at all, in other cases two different medicines can be used together, although interactions may occur. In these cases, your doctor may want to change the dose or other precautions may be necessary. Tell your doctor if you are taking other prescription or nonprescription (over-the-counter [OTC]) medicine.

Interactions with food/tobacco/alcohol

Proper use of Dyna-Hex2

Some of the chlorhexidine products are used in hospitals or clinics. The medicine will be administered by a nurse or other trained healthcare professional.

You may be instructed to use this medicine at home. It is very important that you only use this medicine as directed by your doctor. Do not use more of it, do not use it more often or for longer than prescribed by your doctor. This can cause skin irritation.

Follow your doctor's instructions for cleaning and caring for your skin before and after using this medication. Make sure you understand all instructions and ask questions if you notice something is not clear.

Chlorhexidine should only be used on the skin. Do not swallow it or get it in your eyes, ears, mouth or nose. Do not use it on the genital area (sexual organs) or anal area. If it does get on these areas, rinse it off immediately.

      • Öffnen Sie den Beutel und entnehmen Sie den Tupfer-Applikator am Griff. Berühren Sie nicht die Spitze des Applikators. Reiben Sie den Applikator mit der flachen Seite gegen die Haut auf der Haut. Machen Sie 30 Sekunden lang eine Hin- und Herbewegung.

Precautions when using Dyna-Hex2

Consult your doctor if your skin problem worsens. Call your doctor if you have skin irritation where you used this medicine that does not go away, such as: B. Redness, itching or burning.

This medicine should not be used on large areas of the body for a long period of time. Follow your doctor's instructions about how long you should use this medicine.

This medicine can cause serious and permanent injury if it gets into the eyes, ears, or mouth. Before using this medication, follow all instructions carefully to avoid serious side effects.

This medicine can cause brown stains on clothing if chlorine is also present. These stains cannot be removed with regular washing. Use only chlorine-free products when washing or bleaching fabrics that have been exposed to this medicine. If there are instructions for washing textiles on the drug package, follow them carefully.

The products Chloraprep® and Hibistat® contain large amounts of alcohol (70%) and are flammable. Do not use or store them near flames, radiators or electrical devices. Do not use this medicine while you smoke. Apply the medicine in a well-ventilated place.

Side effects of Dyna-Hex2

In addition to the necessary effects, a medicine may also have some undesirable effects. Although not all of these side effects may occur, medical attention may be required if they occur.

Consult your doctor immediately if any of the following side effects occur:
