Extreme Omega Heart Health can cause serious side effects. Call your doctor immediately if you have:

  • easy bruising or bleeding (nosebleeds, bleeding gums);

  • visual disturbances; or

  • Chest pain, irregular heartbeat.

Common Extreme Omega Heart Health side effects may include:

  • belching, changes in your sense of taste;

  • loss of appetite; feel tired;

  • nausea, diarrhea, constipation, stomach upset;

  • headache, back pain; or

  • dry mouth.

Before you take this medicine

You should not use Extreme Omega Heart Health if you are allergic to this medicine, soy, fish, or shellfish.

Before taking Extreme Omega Heart Health, ask your doctor or pharmacist if you have any health problems.

Tell your doctor if you have or have ever had:

  • Diabetes;

  • bleeding problems, anemia (low red blood cells), or a vitamin K deficiency;

  • a stroke or blood clot;

  • a cardiac arrhythmia or heart disease;

  • a disease of the pancreas, underactive thyroid;

  • Cancer;

  • an eye disease called retinitis pigmentosa;

  • surgery (recent or planned); or

  • Liver disease.

Before using Extreme Omega Heart Health, consult a doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.Your dosage needs may be different during pregnancy or breastfeeding.

Do not give Extreme Omega Heart Health to a child without medical advice.

How should I take Extreme Omega Heart Health?

Use exactly as directed on the label or as prescribed by your doctor.

The recommended daily intake of omega-3 polyunsaturated fatty acids and vitamin E changes with age. Follow your doctor's instructions. You can also find more information at the NIH's Office of Dietary Supplements or the USDA Nutrient Database for recommended daily allowances.

Take with food.

Swallow the capsule whole and do not crush, chew, break, or open it.

Your treatment may also include diet, exercise, weight control, and blood tests.

Tell your doctor if you are scheduled to have surgery.

Store tightly closed at room temperature, protected from moisture, heat and light. Do not freeze.

What happens if I miss a dose?

Skip the missed dose if it is almost time for the next scheduled dose. Do not use Extreme Omega Heart Health additionally to make up for a missed dose.

Seek emergency medical attention or call the Poison Help hotline at 1-800-222-1222.

What should I avoid while taking Extreme Omega Heart Health?

Avoid taking other vitamins, mineral supplements, or dietary supplements without your doctor's advice.

What other medications affect Extreme Omega heart health?

Do not take Extreme Omega Heart Health without medical advice if you are taking any of the following medications:

  • Drugs that weaken the immune system, such as cancer drugs, steroids, and drugs to prevent organ transplant rejection;

  • Medicines to prevent blood clots – alteplase, clopidogrel, dipyridamole, ticlopidine and others; or

  • a blood thinner – warfarin, Coumadin, Jantoven, apixaban, rivaroxaban or dabigatran.
