What is Moisture Eyes PM?

Moisture Eyes PM is used in adults to relieve burning, irritation and discomfort caused by dry eyes.

Moisture Eyes PM may also be used for purposes not listed in this medication guide.

Moisture Eyes PM Side Effects

If necessary, get emergency medical helpSigns of an allergic reaction: hives; difficult breathing; Swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat.

Stop using Moisture Eyes PM and call your doctor if you have:

• severe burning, stinging, or eye irritation after using the medicine;

• eye pain; or

• Vision problems.

Common Moisture Eyes PM side effects may include:

• slight burning or irritation of the eyes;

• itching or redness of your eyes;

• watery eyes;

• blurred vision; or

• Sensitivity to light.

You should not use Moisture Eyes PM to treat or prevent an eye infection.

Before you take this medicine

You should not use Moisture Eyes PM if you are allergic to it.This medicine is not used to treat or prevent an eye infection.

Ask a doctor or pharmacist if it is safe for you to use Moisture Eyes PM if you have an eye infection.

Tell your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.

How should I use Moisture Eyes PM?

Follow all instructions on your prescription label and read any medication guides or instructions for use. Use the medicine exactly as directed.

Wash your hands before using Moisture Eyes PM.

Do not use Moisture Eyes PM and contact your pharmacist if the medicine looks cloudy or has changed color.

Do not touch the tip of the eye dropper or ointment tube or place it directly on your eye. A contaminated tip can infect your eye and cause serious vision problems.

Call your doctor if your symptoms do not improve or worsen while using Moisture Eyes PM.

Store at room temperature, protected from moisture and heat.

What happens if I miss a dose?

Moisture Eyes PM is used when necessary. If you are following a dosing schedule, skip the missed dose. Do not use two doses at the same time.

What happens if I overdose?

An overdose of eye lubricant is not expected to be dangerous. Seek emergency medical attention or call the Poison Help hotline at 1-800-222-1222 if someone accidentally swallows the medication.

What should I avoid when using Moisture Eyes PM?

Moisture-induced PM eyes can cause blurred vision. Avoid driving and dangerous activities until you know how this medicine affects you.

Do not use other eye medications unless your doctor tells you to.

What other drugs will affect Moisture Eyes PM?

Medications you use in the eyes are unlikely to be affected by other medications you are taking. But many medications can interact. Tell your doctor about all your current medications, including prescription and over-the-counter medications, vitamins, and herbal products.
