Before you take this medicine

You should not use Neuroxa Kit if you are allergic to it or to salicylates such as Aspirin, Nuprin Backache Caplet, Kaopectate, KneeRelief, Pamprin Cramp Formula, Pepto-Bismol, Tricosal, Trilisate and others.

The skin patch may contain latex and can be harmful if you have a latex allergy. Ask your doctor or pharmacist whether it is safe to use the skin patch.

Ask a doctor or pharmacist if it is safe to use this medicine if you have:

  • a heart disease;

  • stomach bleeding;

  • redness in the areas where you have mild pain; or

  • Kidney disease.

Ask a doctor or pharmacist before using this medicine on a child.

If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, ask a doctor before using this medicine.

If you are breastfeeding, avoid using this medicine on the nipple area.

How should I use the Neuroxa Kit?

Use exactly as directed on the label or as prescribed by your doctor. The cream or gel form of this medication is usually applied to the affected area three to four times daily.

Apply a Neuroxa Kit skin patch to clean, dry skin. Press the patch firmly and wear it for up to 8 hours. Do not wear the patch for more than 3 days and do not wear more than one skin patch at a time unless your doctor tells you to.

Do not take orally. Topical medicines should only be used on the skin. Do not apply to open wounds or to sunburned, windburned, dry or irritated skin.If this medicine gets into your eyes or mouth, rinse with water.

Carefully read and follow all instructions for use that come with your medicine. Ask your doctor or pharmacist if you do not understand these instructions.

Wash your hands before and after using this medicine.

Do not cover treated skin with a tight bandage or heating pad.

Camphor and menthol can cause a burning or cold feeling that is usually mild and should lessen over time with continued use. If this feeling causes significant discomfort, wash the skin with soap and water.

This medicine can cause serious side effects. Stop using this medicine and call your doctor immediately if you have:

  • symptoms that do not improve after 7 days;

  • symptoms that disappear and then reappear;

  • mild pain with redness in the area of ​​skin where the medicine was applied; or

  • Her condition is worsening.

Store at room temperature, protected from moisture and heat. Protect from direct sunlight.

What happens if I miss a dose?

Neuroxa Kit is used as needed and does not have a daily dosing schedule. Do not use the product more often than directed on the label.

What happens if I overdose?

An overdose of Neuroxa Kit is not expected to be dangerous. Seek emergency medical attention or call the Poison Help hotline at 1-800-222-1222 if someone accidentally swallows the medicine.

What should I avoid when using this medicine?

Do not get this medicine in your eyes, nose, or mouth.In case of contact, rinse with water.

Drinking alcohol can increase the risk of stomach bleeding.

Avoid taking other topical pain medications unless directed to do so by your doctor.

What other drugs will affect Neuroxa Kit?

The medicine used on the skin is unlikely to be affected by other medicines you use. But many medications can interact. Tell your doctor about all your current medications, including prescription and over-the-counter medications, vitamins, and herbal products.
