Rolaids Ultra Strength Side Effects

Stop using Rolaids Ultra Strength and, if necessary, call your doctor immediatelySymptoms of high levels of calcium or magnesium in your blood:

• nausea, vomiting, constipation;

• increased thirst or urination;

• muscle weakness, bone pain;

• confusion, weakness, tiredness;

• difficulty breathing; or

• slow heartbeat, dizziness.

Common side effects of Rolaids Ultra Strength may include:

• Diarrhea;

• Constipation; or

• stomach pain.

Use exactly as directed on the label or as prescribed by your doctor.

You must chew the chewable tablet before swallowing it.

Do not use Rolaids Ultra Strength for more than 14 days in a row without medical advice.NotTake more than 7 tablets within 24 hours.

Store at room temperature, protected from moisture and heat.

What happens if I miss a dose?

Rolaids Ultra Strength is used as needed and does not have a daily dosing schedule.

What happens if I overdose?

Seek emergency medical attention or call the Poison Help hotline at 1-800-222-1222.

What should I avoid when using Rolaids Ultra Strength?

Avoid taking other medications at the same time as an antacid. Some antacids can make it harder for your body to absorb other medicines you take by mouth.

What other drugs will affect Rolaids Ultra Strength?

Ask a doctor or pharmacist before using Rolaids Ultra Strength with other medicines, especially:

• an antibiotic;

• heart or blood pressure medications;

• HIV or AIDS medications; or

• Medicines used to treat osteoporosis or Paget's disease of the bones.
