What is Seebri Neohaler?

Seebri Neohaler is used as an inhalation medication to prevent airway obstruction or bronchospasm in people with COPD (chronic obstructive pulmonary disease), including bronchitis and emphysema.

Seebri Neohaler may also be used for purposes not listed in this medication guide.

Side effects of Seebri Neohaler

If necessary, get emergency medical helpSigns of an allergic reaction:hives; difficult breathing; Swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat.

Seebri Neohaler can cause serious side effects. Call your doctor immediately if you have:

  • Wheezing, choking or other breathing problems after using Seebri Neohaler;

  • blurred vision, tunnel vision, eye pain or redness, seeing halos around lights;

  • nausea, vomiting; or

  • painful or difficult urination, little or no urination.

Common side effects of Seebri Neohaler may include:

  • Cold symptoms such as stuffy nose, sneezing, sore throat;

  • Shortness of breath; or

  • Burning when urinating.

Warnings

Follow all instructions on the label and packaging of your medicine. Tell each of your healthcare providers about all your medical conditions, allergies and any medications you take.

Before you take this medicine

You should not use Seebri Neohaler if you are allergic to Seebri Neohaler.

Tell your doctor if you have ever had:

  • angle-closure glaucoma;

  • bladder congestion or other problems with urination;

  • enlarged prostate; or

  • Kidney disease.

It is not known whether this medicine will harm an unborn baby. Tell your doctor if you are pregnant or planning to become pregnant.

It may not be safe to breast-feed a baby while using this medicine. Ask your doctor about any risks.

Seebri Neohaler is not approved for use by people under 18 years of age.

How should I use Seebri Neohaler?

Follow all instructions on your prescription label and read any medication guides or instructions for use. Use the medicine exactly as directed.

Seebri Neohaler comes as a solution (liquid) or as a powder in a capsule. Each form comes with a special inhaler device that is unique to that form of glycopyrrolate. Only use the inhaler device that came with the specific brand of this medicine.

Always use the new inhaler that came with your refill of this medicine.

Carefully read and follow all instructions for use that come with your medicine. Ask your doctor or pharmacist if you do not understand these instructions.

Seebri Neohaler is usually given twice a day (morning and evening). Follow your doctor's dosage instructions. Take this medicine at the same time every day, even if you feel well.

Do not swallow the Seebri Neohaler capsule or liquid.This medicine may only be used with the inhalation devices provided.

Seebri Neohaler is not an emergency medication for attacks of bronchospasm.If you have an attack, use only fast-acting inhalation medications. See a doctor if your breathing problems get worse quickly or if you think your medications aren't working as well.

You should not stop using this medicine unless your doctor tells you to. If you stop suddenly, your condition may get worse.

Store at room temperature, protected from moisture and heat. Keep the medicine in the blister pack or foil pouch until it is time to take it.

What happens if I miss a dose?

Skip the missed dose and take the next dose at the regular time. Do not use two doses at the same time.

Get your prescription refilled before you completely run out of medication.

What happens if I overdose?

Seek emergency medical attention or call the Poison Help hotline at 1-800-222-1222.

Symptoms of overdose may include blurred vision, eye pain, nausea, vomiting, problems urinating, or severe dizziness.

What should I avoid when using Seebri Neohaler?

Follow your doctor's instructions regarding any food, drink, or activity restrictions.

What other drugs affect Seebri Neohaler?

Tell your doctor about all other medicines you are taking, especially:

  • Seebri Neohaler in tablet form (Cuvposa, Robinul);

  • cold or allergy medications that contain an antihistamine (Benadryl and others);

  • Medicines for the treatment of Parkinson's disease;

  • medicines to treat excess stomach acid, stomach ulcers, motion sickness or irritable bowel syndrome;

  • Bladder or urinary drugs – darifenacin, fesoterodine, oxybutynin, tolterodine, solifenacin; or

  • Bronchodilators – Aclidinium, Ipratropium, Tiotropium or Umeclidinium.

This list is not complete. Other medicines can affect Seebri Neohaler, including prescription and over-the-counter medicines, vitamins and herbal products. Not all possible drug interactions are listed here.
