asthma, COPD, sleep apnea, or other breathing disorders;

bleeding problems; or

Liver disease.
Tell your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
How should I use the Tyvaso Starter Kit (Institutional)?
Follow all instructions on your prescription label and read any medication guides or instructions for use. Your doctor may occasionally change your dose. Use the medicine exactly as directed.
Do not swallow Tyvaso Starter Kit (Institutional). The medicine should only be inhaled using the inhalation system supplied with the medicine.
Do not use or mix other medicines with Tyvaso Starter Kit (Institutional).
Tyvaso Starter Kit (Institutional) is typically administered four times daily at evenly spaced intervals during waking hours. Use exactly as directed on the label or as prescribed by your doctor.
Carefully read and follow all instructions for preparing and using the medicine before preparing your first dose. Ask your doctor or pharmacist if you do not understand these instructions.
The effects of treprostinil inhalation wear off over time between doses. Talk to your doctor if you need to time your dosage around planned activities.

Make sure you have a backup inhalation system in case one of the systems stops working.
What happens if I miss a dose?
Use the medicine as quickly as possible. Do not use two doses at the same time.

Symptoms of overdose may include headache, warmth or tingling, vomiting, diarrhea, or lightheadedness.
What should I avoid when using the Tyvaso Starter Kit (Institutional)?
Avoid getting Tyvaso Starter Kit (Institutional) in your eyes.If this medicine gets into your eyes, rinse with water.
Do not shake or drop the inhaler. Hold the inhaler upright with the mouthpiece facing upwards.
Avoid getting this medicine on your skin. If this medication gets on your skin, wash the affected area quickly with soap and water.
Avoid getting up too quickly from sitting or lying down as this could cause you to feel dizzy.
What other medications affect Tyvaso Starter Kit (Institutional)?
Sometimes it is not safe to use certain medicines together. Some medications can affect the blood levels of other medications you are taking, which may increase side effects or make the medications less effective.
